Heartland Harvest 5K

The 5K course will lead runners through Heartland Community College's Normal campus to the Corn Crib and back, finishing at the Fitness and Recreation Center where participants will enjoy post-race snacks.

Runners will be timed by the Lake Run Club.

Race Expo

Race participants will enjoy a pre and post-race exhibition featuring promotions and give-a-ways from event sponsors and other community businesses and organizations.

Businesses and organizations interested in having space at the Race Expo should contact Foundation staff at 309-268-8110.

Registration is $25 if received by October 18. A $5 student and alumni discount may apply.

Short sleeve performance shirts will be guaranteed to participants registered by October 1.

Race Day Registration

Race day registration is $30. 

Packet pick-up and day-of registration begins at 7:30 a.m. in the Fitness and Recreation Center gymnasium.

Race time is 9:00 a.m.

An awards ceremony takes place after tabulation is complete. Awards are given for the top three runners in each age division (male and female):

• 10 and under

• 11-14

• 15-18

• 19-22

• 23-29

• 30-39

• 40-49

• 50-59

• 60+

Overall male and female runners are excluded from age group winners.
