Scholarships

This year, the Heartland Community College Foundation awarded over 250 scholarships to local students totaling over $400,000 in financial support.

The scholarship application deadline for fall 2020-spring 2021 scholarships is 11:59 pm on March 1, 2020.

Types of scholarships

We have a wide variety of scholarships available for students including those who are:

• Entering high-demand fields including technology, business, engineering, nursing and welding

• Experiencing financial need

• Active volunteers in our communities

• Non-traditional aged (22+ years)

• High achieving learners including valedictorians and salutatorians

• The first member of their family to attend college
