GED® High School Equivalency Program

Participate in GED classes and take the GED tests at Heartland Community College Pontiac.
Adult Education helps you:
- Improve basic skills in reading, writing, math and problem solving
- Prepare for the GED or other high school equivalency exams
- Achieve success with your academic and career goals
Spring 2020
Evening classes are January 13 - May 20, 2020: Monday and Wednesday, 5:30-8:30pm
Morning classes are January 14 - May 21, 2020: Tuesday and Thursday, 9am-12pm
The last day to join Spring 2020 classes is April 10, 2020
- Classes meet at Heartland Community College's Pontiac Center located at 211 E Madison, Pontiac, Illinois (on the second floor of the Pontiac Public Library).
- You don't pay anything. Classes are paid for by state and federal grants.
- Give us a call, 815-842-6777 and we will answer any questions you have. You will complete registration for classes the first night you attend class. Part of the registration process will include intake testing. You don't need to study for this test! Once we know your level and give you an orientation to our program, you'll be ready to begin classes.

Testing times are available from 8:30am-6:00pm on Mondays and Wednesdays, excluding holidays and other days HCCP may be closed.
