Congratulations on becoming a Heartland student!
We know there’s a lot of information to take in when starting college, so we’ve outlined some important pointers here to give you a head start.
Once you're enrolled in classes, there are a few more things you can do to get ready for the semester:
- Get your student ID.
- Purchase your textbooks and apparel.
- Learn about your safety and emergency text alerts.
- Learn about Connect Transit routes.
- Get your student ID.

Get familiar with campus before classes start.
Be sure to check out all of the opportunities to get involved on campus:
- Cheer on the Hawks as they compete in Baseball, Softball, and Soccer.
- Workout in the Fitness and Recreation Center.
- Join an intramural team.
- Join a student club/organization.
- Study abroad and see a whole new side of the world.
- Stay in-tune with important events on campus.
